Dear Valued Guest,

Welcome to Shangri-La Chiang Mai.

Your comfort, health and safety are of utmost importance to us, and in response to the development of Covid19 we have taken the following precautionary measures in alignment with local regulations and recommendations:

  • Improved safe distancing measures and contactless guest interactions across all our facilities.

  • Increased cleaning and disinfection frequency for guestrooms and public areas, with hospital-grade disinfectants.

  • Re-arranged restaurants seating capacity, allowing 1 to 1.5m distance between each party, with digital menus and contactless payment options available.

  • Enhanced food procurement and handling procedures.

  • Procured gloves, face masks and other protection items for usage as/when required.

  • Daily temperature checks for our guests at all hotel’s entrances, outlets, function areas, Spa and fitness centre, and health & travel declaration forms documented.

  • Daily temperature checks for our colleagues, and reminding them to practice good health habits and hand hygiene, to stay at home if they are not feeling well and to seek medical attention immediately if they believe they have symptoms suggestive of respiratory illness.

  • Temperature screening station available at the lobby area for guests who wish to check their body temperatures.

  • Hand sanitizer gel placed in all key public areas for your convenience, with touchless stations whenever possible.

We would like to assure you we will continue to remain vigilant and keep in close contact with local health authorities on the latest developments, as we navigate the “new normal”.

We also strongly encourage our guests to observe good personal hygiene and adopt the following precautions:

 

  • Wear a mask whenever you visit our premises.

  • Practice frequent hand washing with soap.

  • Avoid contact with live animals including poultry and birds, and consumption of raw and undercooked meats.

  • Avoid crowded places and close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness.
