Nature Weekend Camp

with Project Based Learning – Din Dee Farm

Nature-Weekend-Camp.jpg

Join in this overnight kids’ camp!

Run by Chiang Mai’s Little Urban Farm, your kids will learn about bamboo harvesting and how to make their very own water gun from bamboo! There will be also one project to build an irrigation system using a bicycle and a used water pump. People need to bike it to irrigate the garden.

The Little Urban Farm specializes in teaching children, teens, and adults about sustainable practices in farming, permaculture and green architecture. Our camps are a great way to get involved in teaching your child(ren) about alternative and regenerative living practices for the future all while having tons of fun!

This particular camp is designed for children aged 5-16 who can attend an event such as this on their own. If your child is under eight years old and would still like to go, they can! One parent must attend with them.

At this edition, we will be camping at the Din Dee Farm in Hang Dong. We will also have a “bamboo” flying noodles. A traditional way of eating noodles from Japan, where the noodles come in a bamboo filled with cold water, it’s super fun and we can learn a lot about Japanese culture and traditions.

How much does the camp cost?

  • Early Bird Price before May 26th, 2019, it is 3,600 THB per child.

  • After May 26th the price will be 4,200 THB

Where is the camp?

  • The Nature Weekend Kids’ Camp will take place at The Little Urban Farm at Din Dee Farm in Hang Dong.
